I did not mean in any way to depict the catholic church as a kind of ritual minded set of people.I have a very broad background of catholism.Firstly, my Dad is a Knight, I have a Uncle as a priest. Once had an aunt as a Nun but she quit.I my self almost went into the junior seminary (junior high for intended priests) when it was time for my high school, for some reason I did not make it. phew.... thank God.(not in a bad way though). And to top it all, My Grandad's brother is an Arch bishop. Can you beat that?.
Anyway I discovered what realy having a relationship with God was, so I had to change environtment to where I will recieve knowledge, long story short, I am now born again and worship in a pentecostal church. My father does not fancy that much.
I have thought about it.............why a lot of people miss it, its because of their perception and not wanting to open up their heart and minds to accept a theory that is real and true. You know what the Bible says "My people perish because of lack of knowlegde".
Very few Catholic priest dare to bring up the idea of been born again on the alter.I do not blame them, the will face sanctions from higher authority.
I will also like to add that there are Born again catholics...............The Charismatic renewal catholics. They teach the gospel, speak in tounges and also believe in the healing ministries. You would think its a great thing...right? Wrong! The face enormous criticism from the temporary reservd catholics who think they are fanatics or extremist.
This topic is very dear to me, so there will be a part 3. As I promised be sharing some interesting scriptures on every article. here is another:
